Citizens of foreign countries who want to enter the
Republic of Belarus have to observe the immigration and residence
legislation of this country.
According to the current procedure, citizens of European Union
(Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain,
Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal,
Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden) as well as citizens of Andorra, Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada,
Chili, Croatia, Iceland, Japan, South Korea, Liechtenstein, Norway, South Africa, Switzerland,
Uruguay DO NOT NEED INVITATION from belarussian party to get a short-term visa for visiting Belarusian
relatives, friends, other private matters valid up to 30 days for 1-, 2- or multiple entries, or short-term
visa for business trip without work permit valid up to 30 days for 1-, 2- or multiple entries. These applicants
must present the Embassy or Consulate of Belarus in their country only valid original passport
(should be valid for more than 90 days after the period of stay in Belarus), visa application form
(you can get it in the Embassy or Consulate or download from the relevant website) with one photo
and receipt of payment (visa fee depends on the country you live in). If you need a visa valid more than 30 days,
you will be required to present an invitation from a belarussian resident or registered belarussian company by the
Embassy of Belarus.
